Kedarnath portals open, first prayer observed in PM Modi's name

The portals of revered Kedarnath dham were opened at 6:10am on Wednesday. Only 16 people, including pujari (priest) Shiv Shankar Ling attended the opening ceremony.
Due to coronavirus scare and the lockdown in the country, the temple has been opened only for religious rituals and the “darshan” for the pilgrim is not allowed as of now.
Like Gangotri and Yamunotri, the first prayers at Kedarnath dham too were observed in the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
